Martin Taylor made a proactive proposal to the Association for Project Management (APM) to establish a specific interest group for Business Change to improve the change capability of organisations, teams and individuals.
Martin established the group, chaired committee meetings, collaborated with other organisations to build a change community and co-Authored the APM Introduction to Managing Change guide.
The Change group developed to over 900 members from scratch within 4 years.
"I worked with Martin over several years as a member of the APM Enabling Change SIG. Leading a volunteer committee where people choose how they contribute their time, attention and energy is no easy task. Martin's vision, determination and diplomatic inclusiveness along with his own expertise enabled us to deliver tangible results in the form of discussions, events and the APM's first publication on enabling change. I look back on that time with Martin with a real sense of achievement."
